Barry
From Wttw
Barry is a term used to denote a generic person who works at an ISP handling mail issues.
The term was first used by Al Iverson in his blog post Too Much Contact. "There's a guy at an ISP. Let's call him, uh, Barry or something." Well, the name Barry quickly became the generic term for "guy or gal at an ISP." The ISP folks themselves appreciated the moniker so much that many of them will now post comments on blogs signing them as Barry.
